Teambridg Year in Review: 2021 Product Highlights

TLDR: We shipped 6 major features in 2021, all oriented around making hybrid work measurable and sustainable — and we're just getting started.

A Year of Building for the Hybrid Future

Back in January, we laid out an ambitious 2021 roadmap. Hybrid work analytics. Employee wellbeing metrics. API access. Nine months later, I'm proud to report that we shipped everything we promised — and then some.

6
major features shipped in 2021

Here's a quick retrospective on what we built, why we built it, and what customers are telling us about each feature.

Feature Recap

1. Employee Wellbeing Dashboard (February): Our first wellbeing feature used work pattern analysis to detect burnout risk. Since launch, it's flagged over 12,000 pattern shifts across our customer base, and 67% of managers who received alerts reported having a productive intervention conversation with the flagged team member.

2. Hybrid Location Insights (April): Our biggest launch of the year brought location-aware analytics to hybrid teams. Customers are using it to optimize office days, detect proximity bias, and right-size office space. Average customer office utilization insight has saved 15% on real estate costs.

3. Microsoft Teams Integration (May): Deep integration with Teams brought dashboards, reports, and wellbeing check-ins directly into the workspace. 43% of our Teams-connected customers now access Teambridg primarily through the Teams tab rather than our web interface.

4. Public API (June): Opening our API enabled custom integrations with BI tools, HRIS platforms, and project management tools. Over 200 API keys have been created by customers building custom dashboards and automated workflows.

5. Team Health Scores (August): A single 0-100 score combining productivity, wellbeing, and collaboration metrics. Executive customers tell us this is the feature that finally made Teambridg data accessible to C-level leadership — the simplification was worth the work.

6. Manager Coaching Insights (September): Our newest feature, released quietly last month, uses Team Health Score patterns to suggest specific manager actions. "Your team's focus time has declined 20% over 4 weeks — consider reviewing meeting load" is more actionable than a declining graph.

By the Numbers

Some platform-wide statistics we're proud of from 2021:

99.98% uptime — our best year ever for reliability. 4.8 million hours of work tracked across all customers (up from 2.3M in Q4 2020). NPS of 68 — up from 62 at the end of 2020. Customer growth of 180% year-over-year, driven primarily by hybrid work demand. Zero data breaches — security remains our top priority.

Pro tip: If you're a Teambridg customer who hasn't explored the newer features, reach out to your account manager for a guided tour. Many of our most valuable capabilities are being underutilized by existing customers who set up Teambridg before these features existed.

What's Coming in Q4 2021 and Beyond

We're not slowing down. Here's a preview of what's coming in Q4 and into 2022:

Q4 2021: Enhanced manager coaching recommendations. Expanded HRIS integrations (BambooHR, Workday, and Gusto). Improved mobile dashboard experience.

Early 2022: Predictive analytics — using historical patterns to forecast potential team health issues before they manifest. Custom scoring — let organizations define their own Team Health Score weighting based on their priorities. And our most ambitious project yet: an organizational design tool that uses work pattern data to suggest optimal team structures and reporting lines.

2021 was the year hybrid work went from experiment to expectation. At Teambridg, it was the year we transformed from a productivity analytics tool to a comprehensive hybrid work intelligence platform. Thank you to every customer, every user, and every team that trusted us with their data. We take that trust seriously, and we're building to deserve it every day.
