Teambridg Integrates with Microsoft Teams: Here's What You Get

TLDR: You can now access Teambridg dashboards, receive automated reports, and manage wellbeing check-ins directly inside Microsoft Teams — no tab-switching required.

Meeting You Where You Work

Our most-requested feature for the past six months has been a deeper Microsoft Teams integration. And today, we're shipping it.

The principle is simple: you shouldn't have to leave your primary work tool to access productivity insights. For the hundreds of millions of people who spend their workday in Microsoft Teams, that means bringing Teambridg directly into the Teams interface.

We already had a basic Slack integration (shipping summaries to channels), and we upgraded it in Q4 2020. But Microsoft Teams has a richer extensibility model that let us build something more integrated. Let me walk you through what's new.

Feature 1: Inline Team Dashboard Tab

You can now add a Teambridg tab to any Teams channel. This embeds a live dashboard showing your team's key metrics: focus time trends, collaboration ratios, meeting load, and wellbeing indicators. It updates in real time and is interactive — you can filter by date range, team member, and metric type.

For managers who check Teambridg daily, this eliminates the context switch entirely. Glance at the tab during your morning routine, spot any anomalies, and take action — all without leaving Teams. The tab respects all Teambridg privacy settings: managers see team aggregates, individuals see their own detailed data.

Pro tip: Pin the Teambridg tab to your team's General channel. This makes productivity insights a natural part of the team's shared workspace rather than a separate tool that only managers access.

Feature 2: Automated Report Delivery

Configure weekly or monthly Teambridg reports to be delivered automatically to any Teams channel or chat. Reports can include: team productivity summary, focus time trends, meeting load analysis, wellbeing risk indicators, and comparison to previous periods.

Reports are delivered as adaptive cards — rich, interactive messages that look native in Teams and can be expanded for detail. This replaces the old email-based report delivery for Teams users and ensures the right people see the data without anyone having to remember to pull it.

You can customize which metrics appear in each report and who it's delivered to. For example, send the full team report to a manager's DM, and a team-level summary (without individual data) to the team channel for shared awareness.

Feature 3: Wellbeing Check-ins via Bot

This is the feature I'm most excited about. The Teambridg Teams bot can now send optional wellbeing check-ins to employees via DM. These are simple, non-intrusive prompts: "How are you feeling about your workload this week?" with a 1-5 scale response.

Responses are aggregated (managers see team averages, not individual responses) and correlated with Teambridg's behavioral wellbeing metrics. This creates a dual-signal wellbeing picture: objective data from work patterns and subjective data from self-reports. When both signals point in the same direction (behavioral patterns shifting + self-reported stress increasing), the insight is highly reliable.

Employees can opt out of check-ins at any time, and individual responses are never shared with managers. The goal is to create a safe channel for wellbeing expression, not another monitoring mechanism.

The Microsoft Teams integration is available now for all Teambridg Pro and Enterprise customers. Check our integration documentation for setup instructions, or reach out to your account manager for a guided walkthrough.
