Async Collaboration Metrics
Our most significant Q2 feature brings visibility into how teams collaborate asynchronously — without reading any content. Here's what we measure:
- Response rhythm: How quickly async messages receive responses, measured as distribution patterns (not individual speed). Helps identify whether async communication is reliable enough for teams to trust.
- Document collaboration patterns: When multiple team members work on shared documents, we detect the collaboration cadence. Are handoffs happening smoothly, or is work getting stuck?
- Async vs. sync ratio: The proportion of collaboration happening asynchronously vs. in real-time meetings. As we discussed in our async-first guide, the healthiest teams keep this ratio above 60% async.
All of this is achieved through timing and frequency analysis of application category usage — we never access, read, or analyze the content of any communication. The patterns alone tell us everything we need to know about collaboration health.
SOC 2 Type II: Certified
We're proud to announce that Teambridg has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification, validated by an independent third-party auditor. This certification covers security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy — all five trust service criteria.
For our customers, this means:
- Independent verification that our security controls work as described, tested over a 6-month observation period.
- Documented evidence for your own compliance requirements — particularly useful for customers subject to SOC 2 themselves.
- Ongoing accountability — SOC 2 Type II requires annual re-certification, ensuring continuous compliance.
Our full SOC 2 report is available to customers and prospects under NDA. Contact your account manager or email security@teambridg.com to request a copy.
Expanded Integrations
Q2 brings significantly deeper integrations with the tools your teams already use:
Jira (enhanced): Beyond basic project time allocation, we now surface sprint velocity correlations — how team focus time patterns relate to sprint completion rates. The data consistently shows what you'd expect: sprints where the team maintained above-average focus time have higher completion rates.
Linear (new): Full integration with Linear's project and cycle tracking. Teambridg's work pattern data overlays with Linear's cycle metrics to provide a complete picture of how time investment translates to delivery.
GitHub (new): For engineering teams, we now correlate focus time patterns with commit frequency, PR cycle time, and code review turnaround. Important caveat: we never access code content — only metadata about activity timing.
Asana (enhanced): Project time allocation is now more granular, with task-level time estimation vs. actual time comparisons that help teams improve their planning accuracy over time.
What's Coming in Q3
A preview of our Q3 roadmap:
- Burnout risk index: An evidence-based composite metric combining overtime patterns, declining focus time, and work-hour creep to identify employees at risk of burnout before it becomes a crisis.
- Team health dashboard: A single view combining focus time, meeting load, collaboration balance, and work sustainability into an overall team health score.
- Manager coaching insights: Automated, actionable suggestions for managers based on team patterns. "Your team's meeting load increased 20% this month — consider running a meeting audit."
- Custom reporting API: For enterprise customers who want to integrate Teambridg data into their existing BI tools.
Q2 was about depth — deeper integrations, deeper security validation, deeper collaboration insights. Q3 will be about synthesis — bringing all of this data together into actionable intelligence that helps managers support their teams more effectively.
