Teambridg Q1 2024 Product Roadmap: The EX Features Are Here

TLDR: Q1 2024 brings three major Teambridg releases: the Wellbeing Dashboard for burnout prevention, native integrations with Culture Amp and Qualtrics, and Employee Self-Service Analytics giving every team member access to their own productivity data.

Building for the Employee Experience Era

Our CEO Marcus wrote last week about how 2024 marks the employee experience era. This isn't just thought leadership for us — it's our product strategy. Everything we're shipping this quarter is designed to make Teambridg a tool that employees want to use, not just one their company deploys.

Here's what's coming in Q1 2024.

3major feature releases planned for Q1

Wellbeing Dashboard (January)

Our most requested feature is finally here. The Wellbeing Dashboard gives managers a real-time view of team health across four dimensions:

  • Work-life balance score: Based on after-hours work patterns, weekend activity, and break frequency
  • Focus quality index: Measuring depth and consistency of uninterrupted work blocks
  • Collaboration health: Flagging both isolation (too little teamwork) and meeting overload (too much)
  • Workload equity: Visualizing how evenly work is distributed across the team

What makes this different from a standard analytics dashboard? Intent. Every metric is framed as a wellbeing signal, not a productivity measurement. When the focus quality index drops, the dashboard doesn't say "productivity declined" — it says "this person may need fewer interruptions" and suggests specific actions.

Early access: The Wellbeing Dashboard is rolling out to Business and Enterprise customers starting January 22. Free and Starter plans will get access in February. Setup guide here.

EX Platform Integrations (February)

Teambridg data in isolation is valuable. Teambridg data combined with your engagement surveys, pulse check results, and HR records is transformational.

In February, we're launching native integrations with:

  • Culture Amp: Behavioral data flows into Culture Amp's analytics, adding a real-time behavioral layer to survey insights
  • Qualtrics EmployeeXM: Teambridg focus time and collaboration metrics appear alongside Qualtrics engagement data
  • BambooHR: Sync team structures and employee metadata for accurate reporting without manual setup

These aren't just data connectors — they're bidirectional integrations. When Culture Amp detects an engagement dip in a team, managers can click through to Teambridg to see the behavioral patterns behind the numbers. When Teambridg detects a workload imbalance, the context from BambooHR (recent role changes, team transitions) enriches the insight.

We'll be adding Lattice, 15Five, and Workday integrations in Q2. If your EX platform isn't on this list, let us know — we prioritize based on customer demand.

Employee Self-Service Analytics (March)

This is the one I'm most excited about. Starting in March, every Teambridg user — not just managers — gets access to their own analytics dashboard.

Employees will be able to see:

  • Their daily and weekly focus time trends
  • Their meeting load and how it compares to their team average
  • Their peak productivity hours (based on deep work patterns)
  • Personalized tips based on their unique work patterns

Here's the key design principle: employees see only their own data, and no one else can see their individual self-service view. This is a tool for personal development, not performance evaluation.

We tested this with 12 pilot customers in Q4 2023. The results blew us away:

89%of pilot users checked their dashboard at least weekly
23%average improvement in focus time after 30 days

When people can see their own patterns, they optimize naturally. No manager intervention required. It's the ultimate expression of the employee experience philosophy: give people visibility, and trust them to improve.

What's Not on the Roadmap (and Why)

Transparency means sharing what we're not building, too. In Q1, we're deliberately not investing in:

  • Screenshot capture enhancements: We know some competitors are adding AI-powered screenshot analysis. We think that's the wrong direction. Monitoring should get less invasive over time, not more.
  • Keystroke analytics: Same rationale. Individual keystroke data tells you very little about knowledge worker productivity and creates enormous privacy concerns.
  • Automated performance scoring: We're not comfortable with a system that generates a single "productivity score" for a human being. Work is too complex for that, and the potential for misuse is too high.

These decisions aren't easy — there's market demand for all three. But we believe the employee experience approach will win in the long run, and we're building for that future. See you in Q2 with more updates.
