What Shipped in Q1 2022
We had an ambitious Q1 roadmap, and the team delivered. Here's what's live as of this week:
Focus Time Analytics — this has been our most-requested feature, and we're thrilled to ship it. As David explored in his deep dive on focus time, knowledge workers are averaging just 2.1 hours of daily focus time. Now Teambridg automatically detects and measures uninterrupted focus blocks — periods of 30+ minutes in a single application category without context switches or meeting interruptions.
The dashboard surfaces focus time trends at individual, team, and organization levels. You can see which days have the most focus time, which meeting patterns fragment focus, and how focus time correlates with project velocity. It's the data you need to have meaningful conversations about protecting deep work.
Employee Privacy Dashboard
Keeping our transparency pledge, we've shipped the Employee Privacy Dashboard. Every employee now has a dedicated section showing exactly what data Teambridg collects about them, when it was collected, and how long it will be retained.
The Privacy Dashboard includes:
- Data inventory: A complete list of every data point collected in the current retention window, organized by category.
- Access log: Who has viewed your monitoring data and when. Full transparency on who's looking.
- Retention countdown: Visual indicator showing when current data will be automatically deleted based on your organization's retention policy.
- Export capability: One-click export of all your monitoring data in standard formats. Your data, your right to have it.
- Pause controls: The ability to pause data collection during personal activities, with clear visual indication when paused.
This isn't just a compliance feature — though it does help with GDPR Article 15 right-of-access requirements. It's a trust feature. When employees can see exactly what's being collected about them, surveillance anxiety drops because mystery is replaced with clarity.
Redesigned Team Overview
The team overview dashboard got a significant refresh. The new design prioritizes patterns over data points — instead of tables of numbers, you get visual representations of how work flows across your team.
Key improvements:
- Work rhythm visualization: A heatmap showing when your team is in focus mode, meetings, or collaboration, making it easy to spot patterns and bottlenecks.
- Meeting load indicator: A prominent metric showing the percentage of work time consumed by meetings, with trend arrows and healthy-range indicators.
- Burnout risk signals: Automatic detection of concerning patterns — consistently late work hours, declining focus time, or increasing overtime — surfaced as gentle alerts, not surveillance flags.
- Comparative benchmarks: Anonymous, aggregated benchmarks against similar-sized teams in your industry, so you can see how your team's patterns compare without exposing individual data.
What's Coming in Q2
A preview of what we're working on:
- Async collaboration metrics: Understanding how teams collaborate asynchronously — document co-editing patterns, code review cycles, and project handoff efficiency — without reading any content.
- Custom focus goals: Let teams and individuals set their own focus time targets and track progress. Self-directed improvement, not top-down pressure.
- Integration expansion: Jira, Asana, Linear, and GitHub integrations are deepening, with better project-level time allocation and cycle time metrics.
- SOC 2 Type II certification: Our audit is underway, and we expect to complete certification by end of Q2.
As always, our product roadmap is shaped by customer feedback. If there's something you'd like to see, reach out to your account manager or email product@teambridg.com. We read every message.
