Teambridg July Update: Mobile App, Advanced Analytics, and Privacy Controls

TLDR: The July release brings the Teambridg mobile app for quick team insights on the go, advanced analytics including team velocity tracking and collaboration network visualization, and granular privacy controls that let admins configure exactly what data is collected for different regions and teams.

Meet the Teambridg Mobile App

Your team's work patterns don't wait for you to be at your desk. The Teambridg mobile app, now available for iOS and Android, puts key team insights in your pocket.

The app isn't a full replica of the web dashboard — it's optimized for the quick-check use case. Open it during a morning coffee and you'll see:

  • Team health summary: a single screen showing focus time, meeting load, and work-life balance status
  • Smart Alerts with push notifications for time-sensitive patterns
  • Weekly report highlights
  • Quick access to individual team member profiles
< 30 sectime to check team health on the mobile app

The app is available free for all Teambridg subscribers. Download it from the App Store or Google Play by searching "Teambridg" or follow the link in your web dashboard under Settings > Mobile App.

Advanced Analytics for Mature Teams

As teams settle into long-term remote work, the analytics they need become more sophisticated. Our new Advanced Analytics module (available on Pro and Enterprise plans) includes:

Team Velocity Tracking: Measure how your team's output rate changes over time, correlated with factors like meeting load, focus time, and team size. This helps answer the question: "Are we getting faster or slower, and what's driving it?"

Collaboration Networks: Visualize how team members interact — who collaborates with whom, how frequently, and through what channels. Identify communication silos and strengthen cross-functional connections.

Predictive Insights: Based on historical patterns, Teambridg can now forecast team capacity, predict potential burnout windows, and suggest optimal times for intensive projects vs. recovery periods.

Granular Privacy Controls

Different teams, regions, and roles may have different privacy requirements. Our new Privacy Controls let workspace admins configure monitoring granularity at multiple levels:

  • By region: Apply GDPR-compliant settings automatically for EU-based employees while using standard settings elsewhere
  • By team: Engineering teams might want detailed project tracking; executive assistants might need minimal monitoring
  • By data type: Enable time tracking but disable application categorization, or vice versa

These controls are accessible under Settings > Privacy & Compliance > Monitoring Profiles. We've also added a GDPR Compliance Mode toggle that automatically applies the data minimization settings recommended by European DPAs.

Why this matters:

As the monitoring ethics debate evolves and regulations tighten, organizations need flexible tools that can adapt to different requirements across their workforce. One-size-fits-all monitoring is increasingly untenable.

Coming in August

Next month we're launching Slack and Microsoft Teams integrations that bring Teambridg insights directly into your team's communication flow, plus a new "Wellness Score" that combines multiple indicators into a single team health metric. Stay tuned.
