Ask Questions, Get Answers
Starting today, every Teambridg user can type questions about their team data in plain English and get immediate, accurate answers. No dashboard navigation. No report building. Just ask.
"How much focus time did the engineering team get last week?" "Which projects are over capacity?" "Show me the collaboration trend for Q1." These questions — and dozens more — now return instant visual answers.
This was the number one feature request on our roadmap, and it is the first delivery from our 2023 AI roadmap.
How It Works
Our natural language engine is not a generic chatbot. It is a purpose-built model trained specifically on workforce analytics concepts and Teambridg's data schema.
When you type a question, the engine:
- Parses your intent and identifies the relevant metrics, time periods, and team scope
- Translates your question into a precise data query
- Executes the query against your team's data
- Returns the answer as a visualization with a plain-English summary
It understands workforce-specific language: "focus time," "meeting load," "activity ratio," "workload balance." It understands relative time references: "last week," "compared to February," "trending over the past 90 days."
The natural language engine respects your existing permission model. Managers can only query data for their direct reports. Team leads see team-level data. Executives see org-level aggregates. No query can bypass access controls.
What Else Is New in 3.2
Beyond natural language queries, this release includes:
- Smart Alert Refinements: Reduced false-positive alerts by 34% through improved pattern detection. Alerts now include suggested actions, not just notifications.
- Export Improvements: PDF and CSV exports are 3x faster. Custom date ranges now work across all export types.
- Mobile Responsive Updates: Dashboard layouts now fully adapt to tablet and mobile screens for on-the-go team health monitoring.
- API Webhook Enhancements: New webhook events for team health score changes and focus time anomalies.
Try It Today
Natural language queries are available immediately for all Teambridg Pro and Enterprise customers. Free tier users can try up to five queries per day.
To get started, click the new search bar at the top of any Teambridg dashboard and start typing. The engine will suggest completions as you type and show you related questions you might not have thought to ask.
Next on our AI roadmap: predictive analytics, coming in Q3. We will share more details as development progresses. For the full roadmap, see our 2023 AI plans.
